Selon GoalkickMagazine, Everton aurait l'intention de louer à nouveau Onyekuru à Anderlecht. Le Nigérian n'aurait pas d'autre choix. En effet, Everton a convenu avec Anderlecht qu'il pouvait louer le joueur pour deux saisons.
Onyekuru had a two-season loan at Anderlecht and even though the exciting Nigeria forward has had some issues with the deposed Belgian champions, he is obliged to return to the club.
