Very much enjoying Engels the more I see of him. Mings obviously gets lion share of the plaudits but Engels has looked cool and composed. Uses the ball very well too. #avfc

Mings and Engels were the only positive for me. Passing was terrible. Have to change something, Maybe have Davis and Hourihane start next week. #AVFC

Engels and Mings looking solid again. Haller gave Mings a tough time and he handled it well.

I get it, everyone loves Mings and I do too, but Engels is an outstanding defender and is so often our best player. Need the forward 3 to offer much more than tonight #AVFC #UTV

The contrast from Mings, Engels, Mcginn and Grealish to all the other players is astronomical #avfc

Engels was class, again!

We have 4 good players, Mings, Engels, Grealish, McGinn. Rest are shite.

What a weird game. Not a good performance overall but Villa will get there. Liked Nakamba, while Mings and Engels class as usual. Front 5 is still a bit all over the place though.

So poor. Almost embarrassingly so. So many bad performances to mention. Engels the true lone standout for me. Not good enough. #avfc
